ABOUT LUCAS J. SANDIHA

I’m currently a freshman at Wayne State University majoring in Finance at the Mike Ilitch School of Business. I chose finance because I\'m interested in how businesses grow, make informed financial decisions, and manage money strategically — skills that are essential for my long-term goal of owning a business of my own.I’ve also gained hands-on professional experience working at Keystone Capital Management, a firm specializing in real estate management and development, hospitality, and multi-sector investments. In this role, I’ve supported both the accounting department and the CEO directly, giving me exposure to financial analysis, property operations, and portfolio-level decision-making. I’ve reviewed cash flow activity, analyzed profit-and-loss statements, evaluated balance sheets, and helped ensure that each asset in the firm’s commercial real estate portfolio performs to expectations.Beyond the financial analysis work, I’ve contributed to the firm’s operations by conducting weekly property site visits, strengthening tenant relationships through quarterly check-ins, managing rent payment accuracy and cash flow tracking, and building the company’s online presence through Google Business Profile management. These responsibilities have allowed me to apply what I’m learning in the classroom to real-world business situations while sharpening my skills in analysis, communication, and operational problem-solving.
