ABOUT LUCAS WONG

I am a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist at K92 Mining Inc. in Vancouver, Canada. In the past, I was a Senior Accountant at Deloitte with experience in the external audit of many public mining clients and retail companies. I obtained my CPA designation in 2024 after completing my studies in the CPA Professional Education Program and successfully passing the CFE in 2022. As an Accounting BCom graduate of the University of British Columbia, my experiences through Co-op work placements along with my Accounting studies at Sauder were instrumental along my CPA journey. I have a passion for working together collaboratively as a group while being motivated by the critical and creative thinking processes of a team. I value authentic connection with others, and I have fostered this through team sports, school, friendships and family. I am known to be hard-working, compassionate, responsible, reliable, communicative, and collaborative. I am dedicated to always maintaining an open-minded vision to achieve a diversity of knowledge and lifelong learning mentality. In my free time, I continue indulging in my favourite activities including playing ice hockey and volleyball, relaxing with the piano, cooking new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with loved ones.
