About Lucas Hibner
Direct admit at Indiana University’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies. Aspiring professional in the field of international affairs with a passion for media/press freedoms, foreign policy, human rights, and national defense. Currently pursuing a BA in International Studies with a thematic focus on diplomacy, security, and governance, and a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and a BA in Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures, language track, with a minor in Intelligence Analytics. Studying in the Arabic Flagship program, which provides intensive language immersion and study abroad opportunities. Training in the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps for future service as a commissioned officer.Member of Indiana University’s Intelligence and Security Club, Sigma Iota Rho (the honors society for International Studies), and our chapter of the Alexander Hamilton Society, a non-partisan group focused on developing leaders in foreign policy. Through these extracurriculars, I am developing career-related expertise and networking with other up-and-coming professionals in the international field.
