About Lucas Gracian
I’m Lucas Gracian, a third-year marketing student attending the University of Florida, with intentions to minor in retail and statistics. I’m interested in how brands use both creativity and data to solve real business problems and connect meaningfully with consumers.Admittedly, when I first enrolled at UF, I chose marketing as my career path because it felt like a safe starting point. I initially planned to pursue advertising as a second degree to explore my creative interests, but over time, coursework and hands-on projects shifted my perspective. Through classes like Branding, Principles of Marketing, International Business, and Financial Accounting, I developed a deeper appreciation for the analytical side of business and the role it plays behind the scenes of a business. I’ve learned how marketing spans from goal-setting, research, insights, and action. To me, marketing bridges logic, numbers, strategy, and creativity in a way few disciplines do.I have experience in social media strategy, content and campaign planning, project management, data analytics, and market research, and I enjoy translating data into insights that inform thoughtful, effective marketing decisions. My approach combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to help brands make informed choices that drive impact.Outside of academics, I’m passionate about photography, videography, football, and travel. From the eye for detail photography requires to the competitiveness of sports, my passions speak to how I view storytelling, culture, brand identity, and market presence. I’m currently seeking opportunities to continue growing as a marketing professional and to apply my data-driven and creative thinking in real-world business environments.
