About Lucas Guerra

Born and raised in Fremont, California, I am a student at John F. Kennedy High School.Whether it be playing music with my teammates, scheming our next approach to our Advanced Placement programs, or engaging with my scout friends, I love to show my enthusiasm and keep an open mind in all aspects of life!Lately, I have been going down the rabbit hole of Astrophysics and Aerospace Engineering that I would like to pursue in the future. I can\'t wait to explore the stars and reach for them! My biggest strength is explaining complex subjects through teaching or tutoring sessions with my peers. I love seeing the excitement and joy when I successfully teach a hard subject in an easy-to-follow manner.

   At Boy Scouts of America, I collaborate with fellow scouts through enthusiasm, communication, and leadership to better the community through service and education. As a experienced scout, I have been elected by 80 other peers to become the leader of the Boy Scout Troop, acquiring the title of Senior Patrol Leader. Although I have held other positions such as: Quartermaster, Patrol Leader, and Troop Guide, being a Senior Patrol Leader has allowed me to educate the youth on how to fit in a community, nation, and the world as a good citizen. As an organization, we come together through scout-led activities ranging from high adventure to awareness informative, all to make the world a better place through the scout oath and law.
