   Support ~233 production SQL Server instances with multiple replicas in a 24×7×365 environment.• Serve as the team’s Replication Specialist, managing SQL Server Replication, Change Tracking, CDC, Sqoop, and cross-platform data movement between SQL Server, CloudSQL, Google BigQuery, Vertica, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Eden, and more.• Lead the team on all replication initiatives, including replication-reduction projects that enable monolith decoupling. Provide technical guidance, create documentation for efficient task execution, automate operations through scripting, and enhance monitoring capabilities.• Currently driving the migration of several petabytes of SQL Server databases from Google Compute Engine to CloudSQL for SQL Server.• Lead a long-term initiative (since 2019) to identify and remove unused database objects across all servers. Successfully eliminated ~4 PB of data across 233 servers, generating $8M/year in storage savings and reducing replication workload. This optimization also contributed to an additional $25M reduction in licensing and cloud infrastructure spending.• In 2023, contributed to a large-scale cloud optimization project by reviewing and right-sizing CPU, memory, machine types, disk capacity, and disk tiers. Achieved over $45M in total infrastructure cost savings.
