About Lucas Rutherford
A 2020 graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, I now live in Chicago and work for Crowe LLP as a Microsoft Cloud Solutions consultant in the Manufacturing and Distribution unit. Working in Cloud Solutions allows me to gain experience in a variety of fields and roles, including ERP implementation, data analytics and visualization, and client-facing support. In addition to client work, I am involved with multiple internal initiatives revolving around recruiting, mentoring (as well as my fair share of being mentored!) and internship event planning. During my time studying Informatics at IU, I was heavily involved in multiple areas on campus. I have been a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity and took multiple leadership positions within the fraternity. Through receiving and giving mentorship in this organization, I have grew leaps and bounds personally and professionally. I was also a campus tour guide through the Office of Admissions, where in addition to typical tours, I have emceed large events with over 600 people. Additionally, I was involved in IU Dance Marathon, Peer Coaching and ServeIT.
