Managed up to eight people in different geographies including India, on projects for three different platforms: the Web, iOS, and Android. I had minimal product, design, and technical program managers help in the first year, so I had to wear many hats and define strategy and run large-scale projects by myself. Led three initiatives that required updating all 100+ frontend web applications in the company and the two mobile apps. All these initiatives required communicating and orchestrating 30+ teams and were all delivered in the proposed timelines. Put in place OKR’s that measured adoption of the Design System and quantified the productivity impact on the different teams. This metric was critical for the team to get the buy-in from leadership __ The Design System currently saves 10 to 15 estimated engineers and designers to the company. Worked aggressively on the adoption of the Design System throughout the months, without ever imposing adoption on any team __ Today every new feature is built with Design System components __ The component adoption grew organically from 4 out of 39 web apps in 1/1/2020 to 154 out of 172 web apps in 8/19/2022. Increased my scope by also managing the Structure team, currently working on the web frontend infrastructure of the company. Created the Frontend Guild. Meetings take place every three weeks where frontend engineers from all over the company share knowledge. It has an attendance of 50+ engineers. Led the team through the pandemic period, maintaining team morale, productivity, and impact in challenging times. I “exceeded expectations” in all my performance review cycles at Compass
