About Lucas Monfort

I\'m Lucas Monfort, a junior at Texas Christian University. I\'m majoring in Finance at the M.J. Neeley School of Business and minoring in Psychology at the TCU College of Science & Engineering. This combination of Finance and Psychology has given me a greater understanding of business interactions in multiple industries. I’m currently with Bow River Capital, a Private Equity firm in Denver, as a summer analyst on their Software Growth Equity team. This experience has also aided my understanding of people and the software industry as a collective. From SaaS acquisition sourcing to meeting with CEOs of respective software companies to discuss deals and product implementation, my knowledge of the software field has grown exponentially. I\'m looking to gain further knowledge of the finance world through internships, additional studies, and those around me. Involved with DECA in high school, the Denver Dream Center back in Colorado, and the founder\'s board of the Photography Club at TCU, my social, leadership, and innovation skills have been heightened. As I am originally from Colorado, I plan on investing in a career in Denver after I pursue my degree in Fort Worth.
