I am currently serving as a reserve officer in the Royal Artillery.I spent a year on the Lead First scheme which allows newly commissioned officers in the Army Reserve to work full time for 12 months spending time attached to and training with their Regular Army counterparts, my full time contract ended at the end of April and I have now reverted to a traditional part time reserve contract.
