ABOUT LUCA MEROGNO
I’ve always had a natural curiosity for luxury hotels. By the age of 16, I was working in renowned hotels, resorts and Michelin starred restaurants, while graduating from a Hôtellerie school in my native country, Italy.My passion for hospitality continued to develop and I soon moved to the UK to continue exploring and expanding my operational knowledge whilst also continuing my studies. In 2021 I obtained a BSc in “International Hospitality Management” with First Class Honours from the University of Surrey.Today, I’m still doing what I love. I joined as a Sales Manager the team at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.To work, experience and explore, during my first 9 years in the hospitality industry, helped me to be more adaptable to adversities, proactive and versatile. With strong communication acumen and active listening skills, I am capable of quickly identifying clients\', guests’ and colleagues’ requirements and building a relationship with them.
