ABOUT LUCA DAJELLO

I bring enthusiasm, ownership, commitment, empowerment and continuous improvement culture to help teams in maximizing the flow of business value while ensuring a safe, motivated, inclusive and engaged environment.I truly believe in the importance of delivering value as early and often as possible, and my mission is to deliver a set of products, services and improvements that help development teams in shipping brilliant and secure products in a simple, consistent, autonomous and cost-effective way. I love understanding what customers’ problems are find a strategic solution for them.I lead an internal DevOps unit delivering products and services to development teams in the BT TV, Broadband and Voice domains. These products and service are about AWS Cloud, CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure and Tools. My responsibilities include product management, establishing goals and success metrics, delivering product goals, cost efficiency, stakeholder relationships, transformation strategy, technical delivery, resourcing, budget management and team happiness.I have fifteen years of experience in the Digital Media, TV and broadband industry in the UK and Italy. Leading by example, and with a deep technical understanding of End to End solutions, I’ve covered numerous roles including technical delivery, integration and test, product management, solution design, test automation and team leadership.Over the past few years I’ve been involved, hands on, in delivering products and solutions featured by complex E2E architecture (BT Sport Dynamic Advert Insertion, BT Sport Champions League Digital Service, Video Streaming solutions, IPTV channels, Set Top Box platforms, DRM, 3rd Party Integration like Now TV, Prime Video and Netflix) and I’ve delivered numerous outcomes and values to the business, including cost efficiency, self service solutions, shift left of testing, agile transformation, platforms’ scalability and increased score in people engagement.I enjoy inspiring people about change and encourage them to develop new skills, innovate and try different type of roles.I graduated in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Napoli Federico II.I’m very passionate about arthouse films, travelling, history and football.I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues or just interesting people passionate about digital media and technology, so feel free to connect to me.
