About Luca Posa
I\'m a neuroscientist who loves to challenge the status quo and explore possibilities. I\'m passionate about making an impact with my work, both in the scientific community as well as on the public. My research focus on pain, addiction and mood disorders in relationship with circadian rhythms. My goal is to improve the scientific knowledge on the pain sensitization process using behavioral studies, electrophysiology, optogenetics and neurochemistry. Hopefully, my contribution will help to develop new therapies to tackle chronic pain and psychiatric disorders. With strong analytical skills and knowledge in data analysis, I have a deep interest for the application of neuroscience to to further understand the mechanisms of complex behaviors related to pain, reward, and motivation, at the intersection of circadian rhythms, and mood and substance use disorders.
