Conducted hydrologic analysis in southwestern Wisconsin using ArcHydro tools in ArcGIS Pro to identify naturally formed detention basins capable of capturing hillslope and ridge runoff.Developed and programmed an Arduino-based depth sensor system to log water depth and support inflow/outflow monitoring for flume installations. Prepared research findings for a presentation at the American Water Resources Association conference sharing key modeling insights, field instrumentation progress, and preliminary findings.Prepared and presented a research poster for the Water @ UW poster showcase.

ABOUT LUCA CECERE
I am a devoted student studying environmental engineering with a focus on water resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I spent my first two years pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering which helped me develop strong knowledge in manufacturing, design, and physics. My passion for the climate related processes led me to switch focus to environmental engineering in which I am looking to focus on coastal infrastructure and stormwater design, water resources, and renewable energy.I am experienced in design research, data management, engineering and statistical simulations, complex problem solving, and part manufacturing.
