ABOUT LUCA BRUSATI
I currently head the Laboratory for Research in Economics & Management (LAREM) at Udine University\'s Gorizia Campus.Following the completion of my PhD, from 1996 to I served as an Assistant Professor of Public Management at Bocconi University. In I joined the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization, where I covered the post of Regional Adviser for Health Services Management, working in Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Denmark, Georgia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland and Russia. In 2001 I moved back to Italy, where I am serving also as Senior Academic Fellow in the Government, Health and Non Profit Division and Scientific Coordinator of the \"Public Affairs and Institutional Relations\" Network at Bocconi University School of Management.Since 2001 I worked as a trainer, a consultant or an evaluator in Albania, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan. Over the years I have been a visiting scholar in the US and Germany and a visiting professor in Austria, France, Malta and Switzerland.Specialties:* Management training – Over twenty-five years’ experience in training needs analysis and in the design, delivery and evaluation of undergraduate, graduate, executive and faculty development programmes (also in distance learning format)* Overseas development assistance – Leading positions in the identification, design, implementation and evaluation of donor-funded technical assistance programmes supporting public sector reforms and in the organization of national and international conferences and study visits
