Serve as the single-threaded owner of Amazon’s \"Frustration Free Setup\" program, a breakthrough initiative enabling device manufacturers to incorporate the technologies/connectivity needed to make device setup as easy for customers as simply opening a box and powering on a device• To date, have delivered the Frustration Free Setup (FFS) experience for millions of customers, drastically simplifying out-of-box product activation and driving major gains in customer satisfaction/loyalty• Report to the Director of Engineering of Amazon Devices and direct two Engineering and Product teams located in Seattle and Denver—providing the day-to-day direction, mentoring, and feedback needed to maximize team performance• Scaled all of the backend services and infrastructure needed to enable FFS for all Amazon device families including Kindle e-readers, tablets, Echo & Alexa devices, FireTV, and Smart Home• Work closely with numerous top external partners, successfully externalizing the Amazon FFS solution and making it available on brands such as TPLink and Philips• Develop proof of concepts and betas for new product concepts—in addition to reviewing an extensive array of customer experience data, requirements, and feedback surveys to identify unmet customer needs and identify compelling areas for differentiating against competing products• Delivered multi-platform SDKs for devices running on iOS, Android, FireOS, Linux, and RTOS
