Luani is a passionate and purpose-driven leader with a global perspective, dedicated to making lasting impact. As Chief People Officer of Kenvue, she has spearheaded the company’s people strategy, from the ground-up, during its spinoff from Johnson & Johnson. Today, she pioneers modern, vibrant, and competitive talent practices that live Kenvue’s purpose and values and enable the company to attract and retain the very best talent in the consumer health industry. Her commitment to creating a culture of care, meeting people where they are, and creating an environment where they can be at their best shines throughout every aspect of the talent practices she and her team develop. Most notably setting up the \"People Function\" as opposed to traditional HR; ensuring every Kenvuer can find meaning in their work, feel a deep sense of belonging in the workplace, feel that the work they do and the people they get to work with allows them to grow and contribute, and feel recognized and rewarded for their impact. Luani’s career has crossed a variety of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer health. Prior to Kenvue, Luani held several leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, including Global Vice President of Human Resources for Consumer Health, Global Vice President, Medical Devices and Chief Talent Officer. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
