Compile accurate and timely capitalized fixed asset listings and depreciation tables in accordance with U.S. GAAP • Partner with business groups on validating asset classification, functionality and impairment including reviews of purchase orders and invoices for proper general ledger account coding of purchases • Assist on monthly fixed asset spend, account analysis, discrepancies and month end flux explanations. In charge of periodic physical asset counts and tagging of assets • Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance, Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for cash, fixed assets, prepaids, and other various areas • Assist in month-end close calendar tasks including analyzing accruals and preparing journal entries • Prepare governmental tax filings (e.g, property and use tax) • Support annual audit process by preparing documents and review with auditors • Working with cross-functional teams across the company to ensure proper support for the business • Assist on technical accounting research of complex accounting issues • Support system and process improvements to help drive efficiencies • Perform special projects or urgent inquiries as requested
