About Lars Stoltzfus

I am a qualitative researcher and communicator with eleven years of experience designing and executing mixed-methods research projects; translating research findings into practical applications; and utilizing diversity-focused pedagogy to educate stakeholders on media content, human communication, and inclusive research strategies. I received my Ph.D. in Mass Communications (cognate in Women\'s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies) from The Pennsylvania State University in August 2021. While there I focused on the relationship between media usage, identity formation, and community among queer and/or transgender ex-Plain Anabaptists. This was a multi-year project I managed from design to deliverables.My strengths include the ability to work with a wide variety of communities, knowledge of trauma-informed instruction and methodologies, and familiarity in coordinating learning communities. Adept with a wide range of research and learning tools, like NVivo, Atlas.ti, Dedoose; Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle; Miro, Figma, Canva; and Microsoft and Google Suites.
