About Logan Sancewich

As a second-year honors student at Purdue University, I study psychology, political science, and political sociology. My focus is in cognitive neuroscience, international security, and social religion which has given me a robust perspective I use to address complex problems. My aim is professorship, ideally through graduate school, where I can bring a comprehensive world-view to pressing societal issues.Currently, I\'m a research assistant in both the Urban Matters Lab and the Lee Memory and Cognition Lab. In the former, I\'m helping develop an index for a pre-print project on cultural preservation, using my attention to detail and rigorous work ethic to meet deadlines at a high standard. In the latter, I\'m developing my skills in psychology through hands-on experience. I\'ve been cleared as a secondary operator for fMRI scanning and my engagement with the lab has bolstered my skills in data analysis, experimental design, and research ethics.Previously, I\'ve presented to defense contractors and community partners on everything from lunar neurology to urban religion. I\'ve also been involved in community service with Purdue Habitat, where I served on the board for Fall of 2025. I\'d love to talk about my projects, and I\'d love to hear about yours! Reach out and share what you\'re working on!
