About Lars Rønning

I have over 25 years of experience in the offshore industry spread between a classification society, a design firm, an offshore contractor and a couple of energy companies. This wide range of experiences has given me unique insight into how the various parts of the industry fit together. It has also afforded me the opportunity to meet many interesting people, and to learn about different cultures across the globe.In my current job I enjoy leading a team of engineers supporting Equinor\'s energy assets in North America. I work with our internal clients to understand their needs and assign the proper engineering resources to deliver solutions. Typical tasks include shaping offshore field developments in the early phases, participating in project teams to find good technical solutions, and understanding risks and proposing mitigations in producing assets.
