As a Senior Data Scientist at Johnson & Johnson Vision, I apply my eight years of experience and education in data analytics, predictive modeling, and quantitative finance to solve complex business problems and deliver innovative solutions. I leverage my technical skills (including R, Python, SQL, and Tableau) to perform data analysis, transformation, visualization, and joining of relational datasets. I also develop and productionize machine learning and statistical forecasting models using techniques such as reinforcement learning, random forest, gradient boosting, neural networks, clustering, regression, and time series analysis. In my previous roles, I have contributed to the risk management, development and optimization of various banking and financial systems and models. Ensuring compliance with federal agencies (OCC, FBI) and regulatory laws or acts (BSA/AML, DFAST) were also critical components of past roles. I have also demonstrated my ability to communicate complex subjects to various audiences, develop reports and dashboards, and automate and streamline business processes. I hold a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Florida State University, where I also attained passing scores on three of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) examinations for probability, financial mathematics, and models for financial economics.
