Design Lead & Visual Thinking
Nov 2019 — Present
As Design Lead at the UN DPPA Innovation Cell,(an interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping the Department and its field presences to understand and explore, pilot, and scale new technologies, tools, and practices in conflict prevention, mediation and peacebuilding) I drive visual strategy, design thinking, and innovation to support conflict prevention, mediation, and peacebuilding. I translate complex ideas into compelling visuals, facilitate workshops, and prototype new technologies, creating products from scratch to bridge strategy and execution. I led the creation of the first Innovation Space at the UN Secretariat in New York and collaborate within the UN Innovation Network (UNIN) to scale innovations and engage global partners. Additionally, for the past 5 years, I\'ve also co-organized, presented, and led workshops at the annual E-Analytics and Innovation Course in Doha, Qatar, advancing innovation in peace and security.
