As Vice President in Citi’s Corporate Governance, Culture and Behavioural Risk function, I lead the integration of culture and behavioural science into the way we assess and assure risk. My focus is on translating behavioural insights into practical audit methodologies that strengthen assurance, sharpen risk identification, and provide senior leaders with deeper visibility of organisational behaviours that influence outcomes.I work across global businesses and functions to embed innovative approaches that align with regulatory expectations, support Citi’s transformation agenda, and enhance the role of Internal Audit as a trusted advisor on cultural and behavioural risk.Key Contributions: Shaping the strategy for embedding behavioural and cultural insight into Internal Audit’s methodology and reporting. Partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure behavioural risk is considered in assurance planning and decision-making. Driving innovation in how cultural and behavioural factors are measured and applied within a global, complex financial services environment. Strengthening Internal Audit’s role in supporting leadership accountability and sustainable risk management.
