About Kelly Lovett
Kelly is an accomplished Evaluator and Project Manager with deep experience in public administration, evaluation, K-12 education, and youth workforce development. She is skilled in team management, relationship development, policy analysis, Stata and R, data analysis, and research, and is a strong advocate for community-engaged research and social justice.Kelly currently works the Lead Evaluator for the Children, Youth and Young Adults Division with the Performance Measurement and Evaluation Unit within the King County Department of Community and Human Services. In this role, Kelly leads a team of evaluators who support measurement, continuous improvement, and evaluation efforts in partnership with program staff and providers. Prior to joining King County, Kelly worked for the Youth Policy Lab to coordinate and execute all phases of research projects, including planning, data gathering and analysis, and dissemination. She has also worked as a research fellow with the Oregon Department of Education and taught middle school social studies and language arts in St. Louis, Missouri. Kelly holds a Bachelor in Political Science with a concentration in Political Economy from Carleton College, and a Master in Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
