Lead and execute the development of proactive policy strategies to achieve enterprise goals by employing all relevant government affairs tools, including lobbying, third-party engagement, and policy development.• Collaborate with senior leadership across the organization including Policy and Government Affairs and Market Access to develop, prioritize and implement business and advocacy strategies to address evolving policy and payment changes related to Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) practices, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and 340B.• Lead and influence the development and implementation of strategies designed to secure coverage and reimbursement for products while supporting business objectives via engagement of the executive branch of government, trade associations, alliances, and other policy makers. • Optimize portfolio access in response to the rapidly evolving US payer landscape and policy changes, especially as related to IRA. Mitigate risk across different payers including Medicare Part B and Part D, Medicare Advantage, and the commercial market.• Ensure that Policy & Government Affairs insights are fully integrated into commercial business planning to support the success of BMS’ product portfolio and commercial strategy. Participate as a member of the Worldwide Cell Therapy leadership team.• Monitor the regulatory landscape. Identify and respond to regulatory policies proposed by federal and state governments and commercial payers, including regulations and guidance from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other federal agencies.• Regularly communicate with and present to senior leaders within BMS and government officials, legislators, trade organizations, and other external stakeholders.• Manage an individual contributor and interns and foster a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaboration.• Manage budget items as well as the work of consultants to ensure desired quality and scope of work is met.
