ABOUT LOURDES GOMEZ
I am a molecular biologist working on the genomics team at Freenome in South San Francisco. I have a wide breadth of research experiences from marine ecology to paleogenomics to biotechnology. I specialize in NGS assay development, and have experience both optimizing and developing new NGS protocols. In the past, I have applied this interest to the study of various ecosystems against the backdrop of a shifting climate. Currently, I\'m using my passion for genomics to work towards a cancer-free future through early detection.
