ABOUT LOUIS MURPHY
I’m a finance major at Fairfield University with a management minor and a 3.77 GPA. I always bring a positive attitude to everything I do, and I’ve gained experience in market research, financial analysis, and customer service; always looking to apply what I’ve learned to real-world situations. This summer, I’m interning at BankNewport as a credit intern, focusing on commercial loans. Helping fund businesses with term loans and rolling lines of credit. Working on credit reporting, small business, and commercial underwriting. Earlier this year, I interned in Barcelona at Learnlife, helping develop their go-to-market strategy for a new, competency-based transcript. For the past six years, I’ve worked at Newport Country Club as a caddie and apart of their outside staff team. It’s helped me build strong communication skills, take on leadership roles, and mentor new team caddies and staff. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the golf course and keeping up with the rest of the golf world. I\'m also a big fan of all Boston sports. Following football and basketball the most closely. You\'ll find me doing my best work with my fantasy football team.
