Work with all business units on site as the pressure relief device SME, with QC responsibilities for the Spruance VR certified Relief Valve Shop. Involved with pressure relief devices from a maintenance standpoint (inspection, testing, and repair) as well as design documentation. Accountable for- Maintaining the relief valve shop\'s National Board accredited VR stamp- Ensure VRQC manual is compliant with current codes and standards (ASME, NBIC, API, PSM)- Reliability analysis of as-found conditions to optimize inspection intervals- Work with SAP team to setup equipment, maintenance plan and MRO items- Review and approve pressure relief device design records- Troubleshoot installation/design problems of pressure relief devices- Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts, new valves, and repaired spares- Inventory control management of PSM critical parts for relief valves- Engaged during incident investigations as site pressure relief device SME - Manage training program for mechanics to maintain or become certified RV shop technicians- Work with areas to follow TAR best practices and ensure valves are repaired correctly and efficiently within turnaround schedule- Provide training to area engineers on how to adequately review design record calculations
