Manchester Honey Company has a unique approach to keeping bees in a chemical free, close to nature environment with minimal human intervention. It produces limited amounts of luxury raw honey sold in hyper local areas around Manchester. It sells honey based on the postcode of the area that the bees collected nectar from using the trade marked tag line \'Taste your postcode\'. Currently produced is M41 - Urmston from orchard areas, M33 - Sale on the banks of the river Mersey so river bank plants M32 - Stretford with large open areas so plants including dandelions, clover and lime tress and BB3 - moorland honey mixture of heather, wimberry and himmalian balsam.My role was to set the price point, create the marketing strategy including website and social media and develop the points of sale including markets and online purchasing journey. The October 2021 entire crop was sold out by February 2022 at a premium price point believed to be impossible by many beekeepers.
