ABOUT LOUISE TURNER
Along with the Wordsmiths team, I work with marketing and communications directors and creative agencies providing knock-out copy focused on your audience\'s needs and helping them become award-winners (or talking them out of trying!). When you love story-telling the way I do it makes sense to make a career of it. I’m a great believer that if you do great stuff you should get the credit for it. So, after 13 years in the public and private sector working in media management, PR and corporate communications, in 2011 I decided to use my story-telling skills to help brands and businesses get the glory they deserve, and to help larger organisations communicate better with their staff. There is no better way to get your well-deserved glory than through awards. At Awards Writers we specialise in writing memorable award entries. As well as writing award entries for businesses, I\'ve created a guide to writing award entries and nailing the presentations for NHS Employers, and deliver training to help you write your own award entries.I’ve also written and won awards for my own work, designed and set up awards, and have been on the judging panel for awards. I know in minute detail what\'s needed to write a winning award entry.#AwardsGeekThe other side of my business, Wordsmiths Unlimited, uses stories to highlight your glory and stick in the memory of your potential customers, whether that’s a crisply communicated message to staff or a point so well made in a blog that your potential customers pick up the phone.Over the years I’ve written a range of different things from press releases to briefs for the Prime Minister; from awards to media statements for crisis communications; covering topics from the fluffy (nappies & bath bubbles) to the functional (kitchens, bathrooms & aeronautic alloys) to the disastrous (flooding, chemical fires & nuclear power incidents.) If you are looking for help with words to get your business the glory it deserves or with becoming an award-winner, email l•••••@wordsmiths-unlimited.co.uk or call 07•••••••98 for a no-obligation chat about how I can help.
