ABOUT LOUISE MARQUEZ
When I was young, I have already showed interest in computers. I have taught myself some basic knowledge on how to code in HTML and CSS. The social media sites, Multiply and Tumblr encouraged me to create a unique and simple layout and theme for my profile. Moreover, when I encounter errors or problems on the computer, I would try to find a solution and/or fix it myself (thank you, Internet!). Sometimes I am successful at fixing it, sometimes I am not. However, a lot of times we needed to call a technician to fix our computer. I would watch him fix it and ask him why he did certain things to the system. As the years go on, I have showed excellent coding and computer skills that made me stand out in my classes in high school. Due to my lack of self-awareness and self-esteem, I was reluctant to pursue Computer Science in university. However, because of my thirst to learn and explore more about the science of computers, I gave in. Today, I have finally earned my Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science and minor in Psychology in Ryerson University. Years may have passed but my thirst for knowledge on computers never changed; I am still that curious girl who is passionate to excel and learn.
