Cigna Healthcare, Inc – a large International Health Payor. 2024 – to presentNewton, MASr. Provider ContractorCigna Healthcare is a large international company that provides Medical Insurance nationally as well as internationally. I am tasked with creating new contracts, negotiations of contracts, modeling of contract pricing using appropriate software, entering contracts into Contract Manager, and contract pricing into the system to ensure correct payment to the provider. I am also responsible for helping Provider Relations resolve contractual issues to completion. Negotiate Contracts for Physician, Ancillary and Facility. Serve as liaison between Provider Relations and Provider on Contractual issues and assist in resolution of issues based on the current contract and policies. Review Provider proposals and model the proposal and counter proposal for negotiations. Research and build Provider/Facility/Ancillary contracts, language, rates etc, in preparation for negotiation and update contract language if appropriate. Enter Contracts and Rate Schedule into appropriate contracting software and update Sharepoint with updated contract.
