Ucl Life Sciences Work Experience @Futures For All

This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the various activities involved in scientific research. It encompassed a wide range of life sciences research, from the importance of organoids to the significance of GFP, and illustrated the methods by which research is conducted, such as 3D printing, analyzing crab brains, and utilizing virtual reality and more! By exploring different sectors within the life sciences, our host encouraged us to consider the interconnectedness of these fields and their overall importance. Through my reflection I understand that studying these connections, biologists can gain deeper insights into how life functions as a whole, predict how changes in one area might impact others, and develop more effective solutions to biological challenges, such as disease, environmental conservation, and biotechnology. This experience was definitely insightful!
