ABOUT LOUISE PESCE

Louise Pesce is responsible for originating and structuring power and energy related transactions in North America for MUFG. Over the past 16 years, she has led over 200 financings for energy transition, transmission, renewable, and thermal power projects, across bank, private placement, bond, and institutional term loan B markets. In 2018, she was named Project Finance Banker of the Year by Power Finance & Risk. Louise has 35 years of investment banking and financial management experience, 26 of which have been focused on energy and project finance. Prior to joining MUFG in 2007, she spent seven years as CFO and CEO for two New York based start-up telecommunications companies. Louise spent eight years at CIBC World Markets in New York and London as Managing Director of Project Finance, and previously worked for Long Term Credit Bank of Japan, London from 1989 to 1992 on the European Project Finance team. Throughout her banking career, Louise has advised on and executed numerous high-profile project finance transactions in Asia, the U.S. and Europe across a wide variety of asset classes, including power generation, energy storage, oil and gas, telecom, transportation and infrastructure sectors.
