Conventional PR activities are one of many channels that we leverage to influence key decision makers who are important players in our clients’ success. Mrs. Mooney is a former Vice President of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association, where she was responsible for developing and implementing industry wide public relations programs, including: the first PR training program for cable system managers, first national polling of consumer attitudes toward cable, and first state wide cable system community relations programs. Upon leaving NCTA, Mrs. Mooney was retained by the founding Board of Directors of Cable in the Classroom to create, staff and launch the organization. Prior to NCTA, Mrs. Mooney founded and ran Rauscher & Associates, a public relations firm in Los Angeles, which played a major role in the early years of the modern cable industry including the launch of MTV and HBO. Mrs. Mooney is a recipient of the cable television industry’s CTAM organization\'s prestigious Rainmaker Award.
