ABOUT LOUISE MEREDITH
I am a Senior Design Engineer at JCB Cab Systems. I have a wide range of experience in a range of engineering projects. I completed a 4-year JCB Apprenticeship Scheme which consisted of undertaking a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a work based accredited Level 4 NVQ. I have been elected as EngTech MIMechE and I have aspiration to be amongst the next generation of Chartered Engineers. My hard work and my determination in Engineering has been recognised and I have been presented with a range of awards, of which I am immensely proud. These include- National Apprentice of the Year 2019- Staffordshire Apprentice of the Year 2017 awarded by the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce- Awarded a prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship- Presented with a Silver and Gold Duke of York Award for Technical Education- CREST Gold Award In addition in I led a team of 9 to the final and then to the top 3 out of 75 teams in the National Brathay Apprenticeship Challenge, which was presented at the Houses of Commons, this was a huge achievement for me and for JCB.
