Based on the science floor and embedded into the core organization, responsible for a provision of people partnering support to employee group of approximately 350, comprising of a mix of research groups, scientific technology platforms and operational teams, working with a great level of autonomy. Working closely with centres of excellence including OD, Reward, L&D and EDI teams.• Provision of coaching and partnering support to senior leaders. Helping to develop people plans, succession planning, culture change programmes and other strategic initiatives.• A trusted partner - strong relationship building and collaboration skills, which enabled me to become an established member of the team in a short space of time.• Managing research group closures and supporting complex ER cases• Leading on the HR Data Retention project • Helping to resolve long standing and complex people issues and interpersonal conflicts, utilizing coaching and facilitation skills.• Led on recruitment for the summer intern scheme via Black Interns Foundation in 2022 and 2023, and provided support and training to the recruiting managers. The success of the programme was recognized at the Annual Crick Awards 2023. • Member of the Enable committee (staff group supporting disability), with a particular interest in neurodivergence. Delivered a focus session on neurodivergence for the people advisory team.• Represented the Advisory team in the wellbeing app and EAP tender process. • Involvement with the health and wellbeing initiatives including the menopause café and people operations wellbeing working group. • Shared responsibility for cyclical HR processes such as annual pay review, performance development review and policy development • Delivery of presentations, workshops and training sessions• Development and line management of a high performing Senior HR Advisor
