With 8 years of experience in the NGO sector, I have dedicated my career to driving transformative change, empowering communities, and addressing global challenges. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Development, International Cooperation, and Diplomacy at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace (UPEACE), I am committed to furthering my knowledge and ability to contribute to peacebuilding, humanitarian efforts, and development initiatives on a global scale. In my role as Senior Manager of Program Development at the Canadian Red Cross, I lead national recovery programs that support communities affected by disasters and disruptive events. My work focuses on creating tailored, forward-thinking solutions that align with local needs and nationwide operations, ensuring effective and sustainable outcomes. Previously, as the Executive Director of La Boussole, I successfully led a diverse team of 12 staff and 70 volunteers, serving over 400 members annually. Through strategic leadership and innovative management, I grew the organization’s budget from $250K to $1M, tripled its staffing, and significantly expanded its impact within the community.
