About Louis C. Knox
My career has been very interesting so far. I went into the corporate world after law school, working in executive offices supporting general counsel, and moving into contract management and real estate contract services. For a while, I was Deputy Director in charge of implementing new rules for city contracts in San Francisco. Next, I was blessed to oversee a $2.5M renovation project for the City of Refuge to create a youth services center. Later, I supported partners at one of the country’s top consulting firms. For the past several years, I worked as a paralegal and client service person for a fantastic small law firm that, sadly, closed. My newest venture is heading up client relations for another great law firm. My superpowers are client service, managing offices, legal research, analysis and writing, and contract administration. You’ll find me of the highest integrity, focused on customers, authentic, and independent. I’m a master of details and I get the job done. I am also a public speaker to organizations, nonprofits, foster care groups, and youth groups about overcoming life’s obstacles, and have been keynote speaker for many Black History Month events around the Bay Area. Through the estate planning process, Louis helps our clients with document execution, organizes their asset information and works to ensure that their assets are handled according to their plan. Louis’s attention detail combined with his easy-going and warm personality, make him ideal for estate planning in a small firm setting.Before Blacksburg Law closed in 2014, Louis was our office manager, paralegal, and general right-hand man around the office. He went on to become the Director of Client Relations and Office Manager, respectively, for two medium sized estate planning firms in the Bay Area. When we reconstituted the firm in 2019, Louis was elated and eagerly returned as our Director of Client Relations.
