Hi, I\'m Carlo! I love data science but my current personal goals are to improve my communication and strategic thinking skills, so I embarked on a career shift towards Solutions Engineering. The role perfectly weaves varying elements from data science, product development, and client engagement. On the side, I get to build a digital career platform with amazing people at KadaKareer and wear different hats: engineering, product, data, community-buildingI have 6+ years of experience with data processing, exploratory data analysis and visualization, modelling, web scraping and text mining:(1) I worked as a data scientist at 1010data, getting into the messy reality of the alternative data space and uncovering insights to help move markets.(2) Prior, I have mentored plenty of my peers at Wesleyan as the Head Tutor of the Quantitative Analysis Center and participated in research projects involving data analysis.Aside from statistical programming, I also taught myself web development. My current toolkit includes NodeJS, ReactJS, and Google Firebase. I put this to good use by building the KadaKareer web app with my volunteer colleagues!I am a passionate generalist who is excited to learn new concepts and use novel tools. I like ambiguous and unbounded problems and having the freedom to crack it open in multiple ways.
