Currently doing Marketdata software engineering at Jane Street :)Actively interested in software engineering, data science & analytics, Full Stack web development, management/strategic consulting, product management, programming, or any field in need of optimisation who could benefit from a greater understanding of its data or a few lines of efficient code.My story told in a few bullet points:• I Grew up playing competitive golf while specialising my high school studies in mathematics & physics• Represented the Swiss Golf National Team in tournaments all across Europe for 6 years, and managed to pick up a few medals & trophies along the way :)• Was offered a scholarship to play Division 1 College Golf in Texas, and a Presidential Scholarship for my academic performance in engineering• Graduated Lamar University as the valedictorian of my class with a 4.0 GPA in Industrial Engineering & the award of the best industrial engineering student of the school• Decided to move to Madrid, Spain to immerse myself in the startup world, learn a fourth language, and teach myself how to code.• Got hired as an unpaid intern and eventually became the head of program at Spain Startup / South Summit• Decided to commit to my love of coding by enrolling at Le Wagon in Barcelona, an intense 9-week coding bootcamp focused on full-stack web development. • Found a new passion for coding and started teaching code (especially back-end) at Le Wagon• Got my Master\'s Degree at UC Berkeley in IEOR (Industrial Engineering & Operations Research), and was chosen to be the commencement Speaker of the graduate ceremony• Moved to New York to pursue a career in Software EngineeringI love to meet new people and learn from their stories - please reach out, and I will try to do the same:)
