Joining the dots, that’s where your real skill lies Louisa” – the unusual words of a valued mentor and boss. And I don’t think he was referring to the colouring book type belonging to my little girls!On reflection he was completely right – it’s what I’ve always done, where I find most energy and where I help people most. A wide variety of topics, viewed from different angles, recognising the patterns, making seemingly random connections …It’s probably why my unconventional career path through languages, finance, heavy manufacturing and retail lead me to the supply chain arena. It’s where I join dots best.Cost pressures, performance and efficiency, growth ambitions, investment constraints, sustainability, economic uncertainty, fickle customers and dynamic competitor landscape, finding and retaining talent, and keeping apace of digital change - such a wide range of inter-related dots within the supply chain.I am experienced at asking the questions, getting to the real issues, exploring options and finding practical solutions.My career journey through fast-paced and pressured retail industry has exposed me to the best of logistics operations, customers at the heart, and transformation into the digital age.At Visku I am surrounded by an exceptionally experienced, passionate, innovative and customer-centric team. As trusted advisors to our clients, I am proud to be part of helping the industry to tame the pressure and uncertainty, finding flexible, affordable and transparent solutions for supply chain challenges and opportunities.I am constantly curious and want to be in the middle of what\'s going on.
