ABOUT LOUISA HARVEY
An extremely energetic and passionate individual who is delighted to have moved career in to the teaching industry and devout to the successes of my students’ learning, welfare and personal skills development. A reflective practitioner who strives to constantly evolve and hone my skills, ensuring I am delivering the best outcomes for my classes. One of my key strengths noted is my formative assessment skills via targeted questioning, probing and encouragement of students to reach correct answers, and in turn share this knowledge orally, promoting a class-wide centred learning environment. I am extremely passionate about Drama which shines through in the energy and enthusiasm that I bring to my classroom to motivate students to want to learn. I am keen to work in a school environment that values Drama, as having worked in the corporate sector, I believe that building confidence, presenting, oracy and literacy skills learnt via Drama education are a necessary requirement in everyday life interactions and in fact most job roles.
