ABOUT LOUISA SEDGWICK
Since I began my career within financial services in 1992, I have worked across many aspects of the industry.Previous roles have included the management of my own company in which I advised institutions on financial service issues and Leeds Building Society’s Head of Intermediary Distribution where I worked closely with Key Account Partners and the BDM/TBDM Teams. A core aspect of my career has been to understand the needs of intermediaries and to promote innovative products, as I strongly believe that the demands of end users and intermediaries are ultimately the same. To meet these goals, I have promoted personal relationships between lenders and intermediaries, as for these relationships to be effective they require more than simply a computer system. By working in various aspects of the industry I have been able to grow my understanding of the requirements of end users, intermediaries and lenders which, over the many years, has brought me to the point where I am often invited to speak at events and conferences on the future direction of the industry.
