ABOUT LOUISA BLENMAN
As the Executive Director of International Programs at Florida State University (FSU), I draw on my 30+ years of experience and expertise in international education. I am responsible for managing ensuring the quality, integrity, financial stability and suitability of our study centers and education abroad offerings. I serve on the boards of the charities and foundations associated with each of our international study centers in London, Florence and Valencia, the FSU branch campus in the Republic of Panama, as well as our domestic Direct Support Organization.I am passionate about fostering a culture of global competence and engagement among our students, faculty, and staff. I have developed and implemented several innovative program models that respond to the university\'s strategic priorities, financial needs, and market demands. I facilitate the enhancement of strategic partnerships and outreach efforts, as well as foster research, service and creative endeavors abroad. As a dual US and UK citizen who lived abroad for nine years, I have a deep understanding of the value and challenges of cross-cultural learning and exchange.
