ABOUT LOUIS JOUSSELME
London-based emerging film producer, I am the founder of Vega Lyre Films. Named after the bright Vega star in the constellation, the company launched in September 2025 and is already growing with a small, dedicated team.My work has been long-listed at the BAFTA, won at Slamdance, and been nominated for the Grierson Documentary Awards and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. My credits include Hooked (Slamdance winner), Death’s Peak (BAFTA longlist), and They Made You Into a Weapon (Camerimage). I graduated from the NFTS MA in Producing and was awarded the James Walker Award by Lee & Thompson, subsequently being represented by the firm as a standout emerging UK producer.After exploring various fields of the audiovisual industry, including film financing, I founded my production company with the ambition of producing fiction, documentary, and animation projects between the UK and France.
