ABOUT LOUIS B.

A personable, positive and committed individual with a strong work ethic, always willing to undertake new challenges to achieve the best possible results and excellent standards. A strong commitment to inspire and create opportunities to improve personal performance and influence others.I have recently completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Kent with my dissertation thesis concerning ‘The Reaffirmation of the Legitimacy of International Arbitration.’ Seeking the opportunity to begin a career with a company that offers relevant training positions to further my legal skillset and profile.During my time studying at The University of Kent, I had the privilege of being placed on a tier two sports scholarship programme for swimming. This award recognises ones achievement and dedication to sport, this is supported through my nomination and award of the highest sporting accolade at the university, the national blue colours by my academic peers. Further, in both my second and third year of my undergraduate degree I was voted men’s captain of the university swimming club. Being a member of the globally recognised Kent Law School has also enabled me to satisfy and further my academic interests. For example, my involvement and contribution in the 2018 LLM conference; ‘Law and Millennium Goals: No One Left Behind,’ displays the culmination of skills I have acquired and developed within this critical framework. Additionally, my Masters thesis concerning ‘The Reaffirmation of the Legitimacy of International Arbitration,’ demonstrates my ability to critically analyse and draw conclusion on matters of prevalent academic discourse. During my postgraduate studies I attended a number of mooting sessions/workshops thus enabling me to develop additional relevant facets to support my employability as a Masters student in International Commercial Law.
