About Lou Caceres

Mr. Caceres joined Sandy Spring Bank in as a retail sales leader with a strong background in retail and investment services. He was named to executive vice president in 2002. During his tenure with the Bank, Mr. Caceres has led various business lines including retail banking, small business and consumer lending, commercial banking sales, marketing, equipment leasing, and the mortgage division before focusing exclusively on fee-based revenue. Mr. Caceres has overseen tremendous growth in the Company’s wealth management business lines, which include the subsidiary companies of West Financial Services, Rembert Pendleton Jackson as well as a full range of fiduciary services through Sandy Spring Bank’s Trust Division. Through both organic growth and strategic M&A opportunities, assets under management currently exceed $6.0 billion. Mr. Caceres also oversees the Company’s full service insurance agency subsidiary Sandy Spring Insurance Corporation offering personal and business lines covering a wide array of risks. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Caceres holds a BA in Economics and an MA in Economics from American University.
