   In an innovative dual role, I managing both Purchasing and Distribution. I work cross functionally to provide support and accountability in the sourcing, distribution, communications, and analysis work required to obtain the best cost, quality and service from suppliers and distributors for all business channels. Own supplier relationships & manage category spend by obtain products, services, materials from suppliers at the lowest total cost with considerations of quality, reliability of source, risk to business and urgency of need. Negotiate complex agreements with suppliers. Drive cost out of the business year over year while maintaining the integrity of the quality & service needs of the business. Understand price/cost benchmarks on major commodities & evaluate options to address market price fluctuations. Proactively communicate with the category team & materials leadership on leading indicator data and external market factors that could impact cost and supply risk. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risk of non-performance of sold-sourced vendors. Lead the RFP/RFQ process. Develop and manage supplier contract database with all pertinent supplier related legal documents like NDA’s, joint development agreement etc. Assures certification of suppliers for Bagel Brands including compliance with Quality Assurance programs and trade certifications. Source new supply lines and products for LTO, new Concept Developments and recommend best practice in sourcing new concepts. Manage & maintain distributor order guides and pricing management. Support development & implementation of distributor contract pricing auditing. Monitor & maintain distributor inventory levels to ensure minimal out of stocks. Monitor and maintain distributor KPI’s, evaluation process and tracking scorecard. Manage internal restaurants Distribution & Quality call ticket program. Manage invoicing & PO process to support Supply Chain. Assist in new product and LTO roll outs.
